Red Bull Snow Momentum
In february 2021 a big snow storm hit the Netherlands. Code red was given for three days as the country closed down. The young Red Bull athlete Melissa Peperkamp used this time to go trough the Netherlands to snowboard in some iconic places like an airport, the Circuit of Zandvoort and some street spots in Zoetermeer. After my internship at Red Bull, they asked me to direct and edit this project. Together with Bart Sperling and Jasper de Laet we filmed for three epic days with loads of action, and this video was the end result of that. Enjoy!

Brabo Hockey – Improve Yourself
I directed a big shoot for Brabo Hockey, creating a campaign of 11 videos as well as social media assets to launch the 2020 Brabo Hockey product line. A mix of seven extremely talented international athletes doing heavy training, an epic location and a pure and raw cinematic style resulted in this main brand video. Hard work, sweat and dedication should be present in the campaign and I think we succeeded.

Since then I have always came back every now and then and now, more then 10 years later I came back as a professional filmmaker. De Kaag Watersport Academy gives you a feeling, a vibe. SKATE OF MIND
Ismael Staubaum lives in the notorious Cape Flats, a dangerous place to grow up. Where crime, shooting and gang wars are the order of the day, skateboarding gives the kids hope and a purpose in life. Most gangsters in these areas are recruited at 7 year old kids. Indigo skate clinics tries to recruit the kids for the skate family before they are recruited by violent gangs.

In the beginning of april, 2018, I flew down to Cuesta del Viento in Argentina together with Ruben Lenten to create an aftermovie for Kitefest Argentina 2018. Together with Jesse Richman and Tom Hebert, Ruben was hosting the event and celebrating his 30th birthday. We had an awesome week in the middle of nowhere, partying and giving shows. This short film is the result.

This winter I got to go on a roadtrip to the North Cape, the most northern point of Europe. It was a crazy trip with Northern Lights, beautiful icey landscapes and lots of fun. I wanted to make a landscape travel video for a long time, and finally I got to do it. Stoked with the result.

Ruben Lenten’s comeback video after beating cancer. One week of adventure and filming in Iceland, the Netherlands and Dublin, together with Michael Zomer and Alex Revers resulted in this awesome action clip. This production made me fall head over heels in love with my job.

One week ago it was published and it’s received well by the audience. 180.000 views on the counter and broadcasted on the Dutch music television program XITE.

What I Do
My name is Floris Tils and I was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands and fell in love with extreme sports at a young age. I started windsurfing a lot, and wanted to document the fun that me and my friends were having. At the age of 13 I got a GoPro and that's where it all started.
Nowadays I'm a 20 year old passionate freelance filmmaker based in the Netherlands, Utrecht. My goal is to become one of the best freelance filmmakers in the extreme sports world, and to travel and see the world while practising my biggest passion. Creating video content that makes people say "wow!".
